Well here we are again, another opinionated post from everyone's favorite Enhancement Shaman.
World of Warcraft Loses another 300k Subscriptions
Another earnings call has come and gone and WoW has lost yet another chunk of players. Think back to the FYQ2 call, Activision-Blizzard (A/B) had stated it had lost 600k subscribers. Fast forward to today and the FYQ3 call, A/B has claimed another 300k loss. In total (if my napkin math is correct) that's a 7.5% loss of subscriptions in 6 months.
Let's face it, while there are a host of reasons as to why this is happening: Game getting stale, lack of content, lack of developer input, laziness overall with the game's development, one thing is certain... Like stated above Columbus hosted a large variety of comps, ranging from the classic Warrior/Lock/Druid(WLD) and Rogue/Mage/Priest(RMP) to the newer Wizard Cleave variants which included Shaman/Priest/Druid (SPD) and Warlock/Mage/Druid, etc. We even saw "DK Hero" Jigslol run DK/Rogue/Priest. Also...
