did that not working still.

i manually directed it to newer drivers still not working, i wish i had another ati card to stick in here but it looks like my options are return it to the store. i think it is still underwarranty.

i still have reformatted it. thats becuase i need to make sure my in-laws want me to do that.

fixed it. i should have tried this earlier.

i unistalled the drivers in safe mode then booted in normal mode, installed the newer drivers and voila it worked. that was a great 9 hours of wasted time but now a lesson has been learned. thanks for the help guys.

now to work on my pc =/

it happened again today, but i noticed when i shut the computer down last night, windows did a update so i did a system retore, before the update, went into safe mode again unistalled drivers booted in normal mode, reinstalled drivers, disabled auto update. now to see if the problem stays fixed.
