11.11.11 was a huge BONERIFIC day for me in terms of metal announcement.

Black Sabbath announced that they are producing a new a studio album, I have no idea who the line-up of who is playing though, though you can bet your ass tony iomi will be there.

Also Blind Guardian announced that they are going to be producing the BEST 'Best of' album that has ever been produced. Blind guardian doesn't just toss out a 'best of' album, they fucking remix, re-record and re-work 2.5 CD's worth of their own music. I wish more artists did shit like this on their 'best of' albums

And finally.. Devin Townsend announced his crazy 6 CD boxset on the Devin Townsend Project, Uuughghghghghg.. 2 whole CDs of songs that were cut from the full albums.
