Annoying Star Wars things

There are a great many things in the Star Wars universe that annoy the shit out of me.
If you have some of your own please post.

The Sith-I've asked this on the ToR forums and I got answers by 2 ppl but they could not show proof. Why in the hell does any true Sith always turn pale white, get yellow eye's, start missing body parts, and must walk around with the iron lunge?

Holocrons- Is anyone in Lucas Arts going to make something concrete about Jedi and Sith Holocrons. What are they? How does one make them? Do you use it to only log info like a journal or to save your memory of fighting tatics? How does one put a Guardian into it? etc

The Dark Side- How does one of the dark side fool the Jedi so badly. Its so laughable how the Sith always just come out of no were and fuck the hell out of the Jedi. If the force is your ally as they say then why doesn't it tell you to train because the Sith are coming?

Planets in the center of the galaxy- How? I read of no Mass Effect fields. Are the Reapers helping them?

Yoda's race- Someone needs to get a brain and give them a name and a larger role. Are they all bad ass like Yoda? Are any of them tall or at least 5 feet tall? Girls?

Force Sight- So the Sith can perfectly see the future but the Jedi can only see 2%? Cause it seems like every Sith kicks ass because they can see whats going to happen like the Voss.

Hoth- Really? 4,000 years and no one has thought to circle the planet scanning?

Unknown Regions- Really? No fleet has tried to go from planet to planet?

Weapons- I've come up with at least 50 dif types of sabers and yet the people that made Star Wars can only come up with single saber, two saber, staff saber, and light whip? Fail

Crystal Caves- Are there really only like 2 crystal caves in the whole fuckin universe and why the hell do the Sith think it smart to destroy them. I hope they do know that Sith down the line will need a saber.

Below are all my personal opinions, I have no proof for any of it:

There has to be some sort of Visual Identification so the reader can easily identify the Character as "a bad guy" and being mutilated is just one of those things.

Yes it needs to be explained more but that's what this MMO can do: explain deeper into the Star Wars Universe. ^_^

I kind of thought this one was obvious. The Dark Side is about being Underhanded / sneaky. Sith know more about being one with the shadow then Jedi know about bring it to light. They knew they didn't stand a chance if they go: "Oh, hi! were' going to enslave you now kk?" :D

What's wrong with that? Cpuld Possibly be an Advance Alien Race created the planet themselves which isn't too far flung IMO. :O

Sith are about Passion which is what many decisions are based upon which means they are pretty accurate though shouldn't be as accurate as the books say. Jedi on the other hand, are about serenity and Logic which choices are not really based that often upon.

Ya it is kinda sad how it seems to always be the safe haven :P

Unknown Regions- Really? No fleet has tried to go from planet to planet?

It could be that since the Planets in that region didn't support the Galactic Governemnt, out of spite, the Galactic Republic didn't even want to map it out to help that regions merchants/politics. A kind of "You don't want to be part of us? Okay. Once you're all backwards and are desperate then we'll help." It partially looks like it's working too.

Mainly to make it easier on the Auothor so they don't have to include a bunch of different weapons in the story. Though It could also be that since Jedi/sith and all the others have a particular Combat training style that usually requires a certain type of weapon type.

There is alot of stuff you just need to accept about starwars.

Like, Why can't we just genetically engineer mitochlorians? Or why can't we just use chemistry to make our own Crystals?

I know you can make a crystal from a Krayt Dragon pearl. But there's even more things with starwars that just arg's me. There's so many writers but none of them really answer anything because LucasArts wants to try and do it themselves.

@Topic ya a lot of the crap doesn't quite makes sense but it's one of those "Deal with it" kind of things, sadly :(

Unknown Regions were explored by a few different fleets, and I'm pretty sure all those fleets were killed, or something similar. I know Luke finds the remnants of one of the ships that went exploring in the Unknown Regions, and I think that's how he finds the Chiss. Plus, the Empire has even more of the Unknown Regions already mapped, but you know, they are the Empire, and they no sharing of secrets.

What about the planets in the center of the galaxy? They are there, what is confusing about it?

What about Hoth? It's a deserted planet, for all you know, it's already been fully scanned and fully mined, seeing as how the Rebels in the movie are there in old abandoned outposts.

Sith turn pale white when they use extreme amounts of the dark side. It's a loss of energy in their body while using such raw power.

pretty much all your questions can be answered from woookiepedia. Or if you've followed any extended universe novels after return, then you can get a pretty good grasp on why.


Of course Yoda's race isn't as bad ass as him. He's a fucking super jedi, it's not like all the humans are bad asses like Han, or sweet with the Force like Luke. It's not like all of Mauls race were B.A's like Maul either. Some people are just cooler. Anyways, Lucas wants to keep those specific details unknown.

How is it an energy loss when their pissed off all the time. Your body temp goes up. And since you know all the answers why do the Sith deem they must take over the whole galaxy. Why not take over one planet and be happy making the people in pain there. Must you take over the galaxy just to get more power yet your going to die of old age anyway? Palp tried to make clones and yet he still failed.

The evidence is when Palpatine turns all pale when he uses Force Lightning on Mace in Ep 1.

I dk the mindset of Sith, nor do all Sith attempt to take over the entire galaxy.

Well the planets aren't technically in the center of the galaxy, they are in the center of the universe.

They can't send information if there are no signal relays. There has to be signal relays, and when you are that deep into unknown territory, you can't expect there to be signal relays.

You also shouldn't try to rationalize a ficitonal universe with real world characteristics. Just because in the real Universe galaxies are littered with dead stars and black holes, doesn't mean that in the Star Wars Universe that has to be true for every galaxy in the Universe.

Actually I can try to rationalize it. Thats how my brain works. And I'm sure I'm not the only person in the guild who thinks that way. Its not possible to have live planets in the center of the galaxy. And if its the case for them to have that and it not having black holes and what not then why the hell if the center of their galaxy have huge ball of energy. Find that info for me since your good at it.

Ok no signal relays makes sense. Just means the republic sucks to much to not have a ship fast enough to get away.

And you do know they are in the center of the galaxy not universe. We do not know if they use the Closed or Open Universe theory.

Seems more like your not having an open mind about what I'm asking. Everything answered by you or others I took it and said ok. The point of this topic was venting out annoying things that need real answers by the company. And was to see if anyone else had their own. Not to sit here and have a debate with it ending with someone getting frustrated because I do not think the way they do. As always text here is taken the wrong way.

We was having a conversation, I may have sounded txt wise as if I'm getting upset but I'm not. You "seem" and not remembering everyone thinks in 5 different ways.
