I wasn't trying to make a political point over which side was right or wrong.

I was making a point that we need politicians who can cut through the BS. And there are a lot of politicians that are concerned about the people of this nation. They usually are the ones you rarely ever hear from.

Also, you can't just say "BLARGH BLAGH" I hate politicians. Just as true communism has never existed, true democracy has never existed. For democracy to work, the nation must be educated and informed. There is a good amount of america that has neither.

Reminds me a bit of Parliment in England. Any of you ever watch a session of that, it's awesome! Full of booing and cheering and heckling and people shouting out questions and rebuttals. It's pure chaos and better then reality TV!

But yeah, he's right about voting convictions but then when politicians stand behind their convictions instead of the winds of public opinion their popularity plummets and they lose their seats. Like him or not Pres. W. Bush consistently went with his convictions over public sentiment and look at his ratings by the time he left office.
